The Risk-net software was designed to perform the calculations required for the Risk-Based Corrective Action (RBCA) planning process, as defined in the Italian national guidelines for risk assessment and based on the ASTM E-2081-00 Standard Guide for Risk-Based Corrective Action and ASTM E-1739-95 Standard Guide for Risk-Based Corrective Action Applied at Petroleum Release Sites.

Technology . Risk-net 3.3 has been developed using JavaScript and HTML technologies and is distributed as a Progressive Web App (PWA).

Access and Installation . The application can be accessed directly through a web browser or installed locally on a device using the "Install App" option available in supported browsers. Installation does not require administrator privileges.

Supported Platforms . Risk-net 3.3 is compatible with the main desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS and Linux) and mobile platforms (iOS and Android). The software can therefore be used on computers, tablets and smartphones while maintaining the same core functionalities.

License and Terms of Use . The software is freely accessible through the Risk-net web platform. Upon first access, users are required to read and accept the Terms of Use before proceeding. By using the application, users acknowledge that they have read and accepted these conditions.

Display Resolution . Optimal visualization of Risk-net is achieved with a screen resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels or higher. The software can also be used on devices with smaller screens, although some interface elements may require scrolling or zooming.
